Membrane sweep

On Wednesday 1st July I had my second membrane sweep at 40+5 I was only 1cm dilated. That night at 11:30pm my waters broke and I immediately went to the hospital, at this stage I had no contractions. At 8:00am I was induced with pitcon which was so horrible. 10 hours into being induced I finally have in and had an epidural, at that stage I was only 2cm dilated. Immediately after I had the epidural I dilated to 9cm and had my baby girl at 8:31pm. I tried my hardest not to had the epidural, I tried the gas which didn't ease the pain it just made me light headed and freaked me out, it made me wanna give up. I tried bouncing on the birthing ball, sitting on the floor.. I ha no bath I'm the room so that unfortunately wasn't an option.
