My friend and I both bulk bought tampons, wine and picked up some nice new wardrobe items and became pregnant in the same month. We've decided that "bulk buy tampons, wine and clothes" should be the new "just relax and it will happen." Both are equally silly, but at least you get some nice wine with our method.

One my husbands friends said that recently and I about lost it. We've been trying for a year and half, the first year I was relaxed. I've stopped talking to people about it.

That's an old wives tale - "relax and it'll happen".  Sometimes some of us need a little extra help (whether by doctors, herbs, vitamins, accupunture, etc). And that's ok.  Of course it is important to relax to a degree (especially during the 2ww). But stop trying or relaxing typically is NOT the cure.  Hang in there!

People think they are trying to help by saying that we tried for 9 years and then adopted 6 months later bam I got pregnant now I have 2 girls I think people need to be more careful with the so called advice!

There is a fine line between paying attention to your body and knowing what to do when, and then there's obsessing with it to the point it's not helpful to make yourself upset by it.
