Mani's and pedi's ok?

Is it alright to get manicures and pedicures when pregnant? I know it may sound silly but I'm wondering due to the fumes in those places?

They're fine! Just make sure there's good ventilation in the salon and that the nail polish you chose is '3 Free'. Most are now days, but it's always good to check. I usually use OPI or Essie which definitely are. Have fun!

You're fine to get them! My MIL was actually working as a manicurist her entire pregnancy with my husband! What I've been doing is just booking the earliest appointment possible to cut back on the fumes that build up trough the day, and like others said make sure you go somewhere that is well ventilated!

Make sure it's well ventilated and that they use clean/new tools. The last thing you need is a nasty infection!

It's fine!  Go to one that's well ventilated.  On nice days my salon always have their front doors open to let in the breeze.

I do my own, but know plenty of people that got them. Just don't go all the time. I'm going to get mine done before my shower :-) my doc said its ok. The fumes might make you sick if you're already sensitive to smells though.
