Have you ever regretted abortion?

Have any of you ever had an abortion, and regretted it?

A few years back, I got pregnant. It was unexpected and would've been our second child. My husband and I were doing so bad, relationship wise and financially. We barely spoke until I had the abortion. I wanted the baby so badly. I knew bringing it into this world and how we were doing was no good; but I still hate myself and him for it. :\

I've never regretted my abortion. I know in my heart that I did what was best at that time. What I struggled with was my religion. How does a Christian explain an abortion?  I grew up in a strictly religious household. I was always told that abortion is the greatest sin one can commit and a lot of other stuff that goes deeper but I'll be brief, keep it short. I felt ashamed of having sex, ashamed of getting pregnant, ashamed of not being married and got really depressed. I went on antidepressants and saw a therapist who helped me see that God loves me regardless. God accepts me and still cares for me. It was never about the abortion itself tho. I didn't regret it. Just struggled with my religion and because of that I also struggled with my identity Idk if that makes any sense.

I'm an atheist. I had one when I was 16 and it still breaks my heart sometimeS. I'm currently pregnant and due in January with my second technically and it's just not fair I have an angel baby now and this baby girl in my tummy and I feel regret but the past is the past nothing can be done or undone

I regret it everyday. It's not a one size fits all thing. Everyone has a different reaction and that's ok

I don't regret my abortion I regret doing stupid things like drugs and drinking, partying bc they barely could find my babys heart beat. I would have regretting harming my own child I felt like to me was a better way bc I couldn't live with my self if I had a still born

I've had two abortions,  the first one had no affect on me because I was pissed and  hated the guy I was dating because he cheated on me, I did it out of spite. The second abortion I had was a bit hard because I was in a serious relationship and he pretty much made me do it because he didn't want kids, after that I started hating him and lost a lot of respect for him.

I was 16 when I had an abortion.
While there are days I truly regret my decision, I also understand that it was the very best decision for me at the time.
The guy I was with was also 16 and was running from the police and I wasn't willing to have to have my mom raise my child while I was busy in high school or have a day care raise my child while I was doing my own responsibilities. 
That would not have been fair to me, to my baby, or my mother.

I have days where I feel like even though that would have happened I could have done it and everything would have worked out but I know in my heart I would not have been okay with that situation.

This is not the same situation you are in but think about the situation you where in at the time of the abortion. If you were there again you would probably make the same choice you made when you made it the first time. Or at least I feel like that's true for me !
