Super embarrassed

Has anyone had a yeast infection? Or had extreme itching of the labia? My labia have been super itchy lately so I assumed it's a yeast infection - which I have never had - so I've been using coconut oil to lessen the irritation. But it doesn't seem to be going away. We go on vacation tomorrow and will be 'out of network' for a week. I dont have time for a dr appt. I hope it's nothing serious. I'm supposed to get my period next week too - on vacation, yay - so maybe that'll stop this itch? It seems to be localized to external parts only. So that's good. Just wondering if I should pick up monistat or something? I'm super worried about it and extremely embarrassed!
