Disney's effects on boys?

Friday • "In the end, we will protect only what we love, we will love only what we understand, and we will understand only what we are taught."
Do you think that Disney heroes/princes can negatively impact the way young boys view masculinity? Disney males are usually the archetypal strong, barrel-chested, strong jawed, and always get the girl or win honor- usually after showdown with another villain (Gaston with the Beast, Simba with Scar, Aladdin with Jafar, Prince Philip with Maleficient, and saves the day- showing that fighting and being good looking matter a lot in life, especially attracting girls. Those are just a few examples, but it was a passing thought while watching Mulan with my niece. That song "Be A Man" planted the idea for this topic and I would love to hear what everyone else thinks.
