A guy that pays the bill and then blames you

Hey ladies. I've been seeing a guy for some months. He always takes me out to eat and insists on not letting me take a cent out of my wallet. Nothing's happened between us yet, by the way. But when he's had a couple of extra drinks he'll text me saying I use him to get food, which I find humiliating. I'm not that desperate! But he's frustrated because he doesn't know if I have feelings towards him. How should I react?
