2 failed IVF, should I see a different doc?

Just had a heart-broken news about low beta, my second failed IVF.

If I were brave enough to try it again, should I stick to the same doctor (who is good and caring) or try a new doctor with potentially new protocol?

Any suggestions??

The same thing happened to me! I can tell you is best to go to another clinic! I did - I'm currently seeing a fertility specialist and he said the second time around my previous fertility specialist should have done things differently. Good luck and don't give up!!!!

I see you are here in the DC area. If you aren't already being treated at Shady Grove Fertility I would go there. I am currently being treated at one of their offices only after seeing two friends get pregnant after being seen at that practice. One had s blocked Fallopian tube and the other did IVF and they got pregnant her first cycle.

Is there any info about the drs you go to on the Success of IVF cycles? I would look into that. I know some places have a better success rate than others & different equipment. My RE is the only one within 3-4 states that has an Embryoscope which is supposed to up the success rate too.

After 4 MC ( one was ivf) I went to a different clinic to learn about the new augment procedure. My current clinic said to just do the same protocol.  While the RE told me I wasn't a candidate, he did say " How could you hope for a different result if you do the exact same thing?" He set me out on a path of seeing a naturopath and taking supplements to improve egg quality. Then the naturopath had me do some blood tests and apparently I have a clotting disorder which is most likely causing it all. She's referred me to a clinic who deals with auto immune issues. 
Moral of my story is to do some visits with other clinics. Get a copy of your chart and cycle so you can take it to different REs. My point of view was I wanted others to look at my file and give me some kind of explanation. You never know where another set of eyes will take you..,,.
