How soon is too soon to start on the nursery?

I'm 17 weeks this week and am anxious to get the nursery together! Is it too soon to grt things set up or am I just majorly over thinking this??

Do it whenever you want. I was waiting bc I'm doing a gender specific nursery so I couldn't start until 20 weeks when I found out the gender. Once I found out I couldn't decide on bedding so I'm just starting mine now at 27 weeks. We painted today

A lot of things for the nursery I am asking for at our shower. So whenever that is I guess we will start!

I don't think it's ever too earlym. Do it while you have energy! I'm in my third trimester and glad I started the nursery in my second trimester

We had a roof leak when I was about 12w so the guest room furniture got cleared out right away so we could redo the ceiling.  It was way earlier than we thought and we had planned to have family use the room for a few visits this summer. The ceiling has been redone but it has turned out to be a blessing that we started so early. My husband has been able to take his time repainting. We have also decided to replace all the baseboards and add crown molding which he started painting yesterday. I am 18w4d and feel like I have tons of time to get it perfect since we started early. I found a crib and dresser that I fell in love with and Babies R Us shipped it faster than they said (never a bad thing). Because the room has nothing in it except paint drop cloths at the moment, the crib, dresser, and nightstand are sitting in our living room unpacked but not yet built. My hubby wants to finish painting the trim on Thursday (his next day off) and then we can start moving in and building furniture. I am excited!

I plan on starting things shortly after knowing gender (20 weeks). I have a pretty busy work schedule, so I want to be able to do it piece by piece.

I plan on having my nursery done by 25 weeks just in case baby comes early or if I need to go on bed rest. You can never be too prepared!!

We had our nursery set up by 18weeks! We are slowly working om decorations now(: Do it when you feel ready and most content. I'm 20weeks 5days now!

I'm 20w3d and we have the crib, changing table and dressers put together. I'm ready to now start buying decor and what not since we know it's a boy!!
