Mid-cycle spotting

Does anyone else here experience mid cycle spotting? I never experienced this before I went on birth control (about 11 years ago). I recently came off birth control (in March) to start trying for a baby and almost every month I've has mid cycle spotting. It's clockwork too - exactly 2 weeks from the start of my period, I get spotting. I've read that it's probably ovulation spotting, but was curious if anyone else has this too? TIA!
