Ectopic - anyone else?

Question

I had an ectopic pregnancy the day after Mother's Day with my very first pregnancy and it was the most devastating moment in my life. I had methotrexate and this is the first month we are able to start trying again. Has anyone else had an ectopic? If so, were you using preseed? What do you believe caused your ectopic?

Thank you for your response! They said my tubes looked normal but they weren't even sure where the pregnancy was because they couldn't find it. I will look up those tampons you suggested and see if that helps. I'm so sorry for your loss!

I had an ectopic back in March and I was also treated with methotrexate. We weren't actively TTC at the time and found out only a few days after the positive test that the pregnancy wasn't viable. It was still upsetting however.

I had an HSG performed a few days ago to get a good look at my tubes to see if there was any blockage that could have caused this, but they are all clear. My doctor says sometimes it's just a timing thing- the fertilized egg will start to implant wherever it is on day 5 or so. Hopefully my next one will hurry up and get to its destination in time. 😊

I also had an ectopic pregnancy. It would have been our first and I was also treated with mtx. It was truly devastating. My baby would have been due this month. I haven't started trying yet or preventing. I found this thing online called herbal tampons they are supposed to unblock your tubes. The stuff that came out of me was crazy!!! So I'm hoping now that my tubes are unblocked. I'm sorry you are going through this. I feel your pain. I wasn't using pressed or anything it just happened naturally.
