At my office they do not allow any photography or video recording, but they can burn a disk to take home. Maybe check ahead of time so you know their policy?

My hubby couldn't come to our 9 week check up, so I asked the tech beforehand if l could video it. She said after the scan, so after her measurements and tech stuff she went back and talked me through the baby's position and replayed the heartbeat for me. I loved it and it's so fun to replay later.

I hope that is the case for us. But our ultrasound tech is not always the nicest!!!

This is my 3rd child/pregnancy and this time at my 20 wk scan they gave me a dvd of the whole thing

We took multiple little 1 minute videos during our 12 week scan and we were able to catch him wiggling all around. The ultrasonographer encouraged it :)
