Traveling husband

For those of to ttc: my husband travels a lot. Right now is my fertile week with peak day Wednesday. He is gone Monday afternoon until Thursday night. We made sure to have sex right before he left for the airport on Monday and will make sure to do so Thursday night but is this month not going to happen because the smiley face appeared on the ovulation kit on Tuesday or Wednesday? Hoping this is the month but this traveling really makes me hesitate to even think it could.
