Cluster feeding?

So my son is almost a month old, but for the past few days if I'm not holding him he screams bloody murder. He's constantly feeding all day and night. And if he loses the latch he also screams. It's been 3 days since this started. I don't think it helps that he was also just circumcised. I'm exhausted. I use a pacifier when I can but he also will knock it out repeatedly and again screams. Is this normal? Is it almost over?

It's definitely normal but we can't tell you if its  almost over or not. He's probably going through a growth spurt so he needs to be constantly feeding so that your supply can match his demands. I know it sucks but using a paci will hinder the supply and he will feel like he's not getting enough.

Pump & bottle baby if your worried he's not getting fed - don't use formula!  (Take lots of breaks with a bottle so he doesn't over-eat.)

I found out he has thrush, and that's most likely the reason he's been like this.

Supplementing with formula will likely make your supply go down. Babies do this for a reason. I would see a lactation consultant if you're concerned about whether he's getting enough and you need to supplement before you do.

This has nothing to do with what your asking so I apologize in advance but why was he circumcised so late? Just curious Bc my son isn't circumcised and I'm always concerned if I'm cleaning him properly...

My cousin had this issue you may hate it but he may need to be supplemented with formula
