System flush????

Question

I saw my OB today and he mentioned a procedure where they insert a catheter and "flush" the system out, which usually ends up with a pregnancy within 2 cycles (if there are no other underlying issues). Has anyone had this done and if so did it work? Also, if a good flush is all that's needed than why isn't it done more often?

I had it done they do take a couple of 20ml syringes contaced to a catheter filled with normal saline and flush you out. It can be a little expensive if that's all you're having done. Thank God my insurance covered it for me because I had other procedures with him, but the nurse told me that usually they send patients out to another facility to have it done and its pricey, but I have an awesome OB, so he did it for me in his office.
