I've had spotting and a period this month

From July 5th through 10th I had spotting- about 15 days after losing my virginity during unprotected sex in which he pulled out. I started my period today, the 29th (at least I assume it's my period). Could losing my virginity have affected my cycle and make me spot for 5 days- around ovulation time? my cycle was super light but constant so I'm considering it spotting as my usual periods are typically heavy. It may have just been light flow. Im just confused as I haven't skipped or doubled a period since November/December. Any advice would be helpful
