Would you allow your SO be able to see and text his EX girlfriend?

My boyfriend says that they are just friends but she always wants to use him and ask him to give her rides and they always text on whatsapp (he blocked me on whatsapp) when she calls and i'm around he doesn't answer also. He goes in the washroom and hides so he can call or text her back. Sorry its really bothering me. He says i shouldn't be worrying. Last thing if it was me he would be going crazy.

I have no problems with being friends with ex's, BUT when they are hiding to talk to them or blocking you from things....that's where the line is drawn. If it really were "just friend", he would talk to her next to you.

When he blocked you that would be my sign to go bye! If he has no kids with this girl I don't see the reason for them to be friendly and if they were such good friends why did they break up so not acceptable

It would be okay if he didn't act so shady about it. The hiding and sneaking around would throw a red flag up for me really fast, and I'm not even the jealous/controlling/suspicious type.

I've dealt with this before. He was stuck on her and had unresolved feelings since she cheated on him. Unless they have children in common I don't see a reason for anyone in a relationship to be in contact with their ex.

Another post a few days ago asked what we thought cheating was. My answer was and is: if you're doing something you feel the need to hide from your S/O, then you're cheating.

I have no problems with my husband talking to an ex. It's fine with me. What our boyfriend is doing, is not. He's damaging your relationship by hurting your trust, and he's putting this relationship with his ex above his relationship with you. It's emotional cheating, even if it hasn't progressed to physical yet.
