PCOS & regular periods??

Ive recently been diagnosed with PCOS but my periods come every month on time... Is this a good thing? Does this mean I'm ovulating? I'm only 19 & I had no idea what pcos meant. I went for a scan one day and the doctor said "oh you've got lots of polycystic ovaries" and thats all she said. I was so confused so I researched it which just made me have a panic attack & caused depression. A part of me really wants to get pregnant just so I know that I can, but it never happens. I guess I just need some closure and support. Everytime I talk about it I just break down and cry.

I am 32 and I have 3 kiddos. I was diagnosed with PCOS while ttc my second baby. I was 26 at the time. It can be slightly harder and you may need meds to help but it is very possible. I would say regular cycles is a very good sign! You can start temping and that will tell you for sure if and when you're ovulating.

It's okay.  I have it(I m 35) and I have a 15 month old son  and I m 20 weeks with my daughter. I needed meds to conceive and keep my pregnancies, but it possible.  Consider yourself lucky,  I didn't get the proper diagnosis till I was  almost 32.   You've got time.
