Hiding twin??

Question

Is it possible to be pregnant with twins and the doctor not catch it?
I have an at home doppler and most times can pick up what it sounds like is two heartbeats, also i can feel baby kick with my hand, I'll have my hand on my very right side of my stomach and feel a kick then immediately after more kicks on the left side and so on.
Only one baby was seen on my 12 week ultrasound, but I've heard it's possible for a twin to be hiding behind the other.

I guess anything is possible but I pregnant with twins and at 12 weeks it was very obvious even though one baby is stacked on top of the other.

You could be hearing tour hear beat but yes it is possible woman have gone all 40weeks without knowing and be surprised at birth

Possible but highly unlikely your probably hearing an echo or your placenta and the kicks could be kicks on one side other body parts on the other

I am pregnant with a twinless twin now and at my first appointment we only heard one heartbeat because baby b was in front of baby a. Talk to your doctor and ask for an ultrasound
