Merina Removal?

I'm afraid to ask but what was your experience with the removal? I have one and the insertion wasn't to awful but I definitely felt some discomfort. Is getting it removed worse? What's it like? Give me your stories.

Taking it out felt like nothing. At all!!!

Having it put in was uncomfortable and I felt like I was going to faint for most of the afternoon - taking it out was nothing, very similar to a Pap smear.

Insertion hurt like a bitch for about a week major cramps - had it for about a year and 4 mos but was having problems that my Dr and I felt may be hormone related so got it out - not easy - first try couldn't get it - had to take rx to open cervix - second try she got it but was very painful (ya know when Drs say ok you're going to feel pressure and you want to die!) and for about a day felt like i was in labor

But on flip side my mom had no issues at all - everyone is different but be prepared it may not be fun but if you've ever had a baby you'll survive lol

I must be an acception.  Getting it removed was worse for me. Not after, just AS it was being removed.

Nothing like when it was put in. I thought the worst and thought it was gonna hurt so bad. But the arms flex so they get pushed up out the way when it slides out. Honestly it's fine.
