What did you do to prepare?

Hey, my wife and I are going to start TTC soon and I would love some advice on what some of you have done to get started. We are going to do it at home rather than a doctors office. I read a lot of stuff but I would love some advice from people who are actually going through the same experience. Any special meds you feel work? Certain tools? Certain position? Thanks so much for your help!

I took prenatals to prepare. After my period ended, I started taking ovulation tests. We planned three donations, every other day with the third day being my peak day. Donor donated, then my wife used a needless syringe to insert the sperm and then we put a softcup in and had sex (using a vibrator only). Took softcup out after 12 hours.  After first try, the next day my OPK was positive.

Two weeks later, I got my BFP.

First of all congrats!! we took prenatals, used vitex daily and pre seed during insemination. We used a 1 ml syringe (sometimes we filled up as many as 4 with our known donor). We did the hips on pillows just laying on your back. Make sure you're using OPK's! Make sure if you're using a known donor to move quickly,  timing is everything!
