IUD Insertation

Jess • Fri, Aug 07 • I am a college student that would like to finish school before having a kid but I also want to make sure its still a possibility when I get there.

I just had the mirena IUD inserted today around 2:00pm. It has only been 5 hours (7:00pm as I write this) and already the cramping has stopped, right after the insertation the cramping was almost unbearable. Should I be worried that something went wrong or should I just count my blessings that my body adjusted so fast. Inserted on period, with misoprostal taken 12 hours before hand, 800mg of ibuprofen taken 1 hour before appointment. Thanks in advance for the answers.
