Ovulation tests

Ok I bought one of those ovulation tests and of course me being a nosy Rosie opened the container, and without reading the instructions it says do not open until ready to use. It is good for 30days and my friend won't be here for anothe 8 days. Did I just ruine the tests?😩😩
