Changing my hair

I have had that exact same hair for 6 years and I want to change it I don't want it to be a dramatic change but my hate is long dark brown layered  hair and I have short eyebrow length bangs I love my hair but I want change. I like the burgundy color and maybe a darker blonde highlight. And I have never dyed my hair. Anyone have and ideas on what I should do it send me some pictures.
