Delayed cord clamping
So for those of you who don't know, delayed cord clamping is allowing a little more blood flow from the umbilical cord to the baby prior to cutting it. It allows more red blood cells, stem cells and immune cells to get to the baby. It encourages better nuerological responses as well. And it's good for little boys whose parents are deciding to circumcise. Even with all the benefits, it increases the risk of jaundice by 3%.
