To test or not to test

Glow told me to test today... I had thought I was going to... But I really can't stand the thought of just one pink line and staring at a blank white space hoping that second line will magicly appear...AF is due Friday... I had horrible cramps last night... But then my boobs were soo sore all week I don't know which way to think... So when do you ladies think I should test?
