Do you hear a voice in your head while thinking or reading

My husband and I had an argument about this. He says he cant and has never heard himself think. I think that I must be crazy because not only do I think and read in my own voice but other voices that i have heard. I can hear a whole song playing in my head with music in the background etc. He looked at me like I was crazy when I explained this.

If I'm reading something short, like comments it's like an internal voice, as if I'm being spoken to.

If I'm reading a good book, I skim the words and see a picture more than hear the words, especially if it's descriptive, then I'm visualizing what the author is describing, not hearing them describe it.

Hm. I don't. It's hard to explain, it's more of a visual story. Like... I guess I could compare it to a comic book. I more so "see" the words than I do "hear" them.

I read mostly in my own voice unless it's a book of a movie that I have seen. Then I read in the voice of the corresponding characters

Yes I hear voices when reading, but then a gain I once argued to myself in three different distinct voices lol :/
