What should I do?

Tonight I found a condom in my hubby's book bag that he carries to and from work. I don't know what to think or do. I haven't said anything to him yet because he is playing video games with my brother in law. 
I wasn't snooping before any says why was I in his thing. Once a week I go in his bag and clean it out. He tends to leave lunch containers in it so I get them out so I can wash them. Well tonight I was pulling stuff out and seen a gold wrapper on the bottom so I pulled it out. I am furious right now but am not sure how to go about it. 
I can't even figure out how he would cheat. I drop him off and pick him up. He works with my uncle so if my uncle seen something funny he would look out for me and tell me.

How should I approach my hubby?

Leave the condom laying out, 100% address this. I had my husband throw out every condom in our house and in his wallet when we got married. So any surprise condoms would be a definite cause for concern. Address it. There could be a logical explanation but you need to bring it up calmly and get to the bottom of it ASAP! Good luck!❤️

I would put it on the dining room table then call him in to talk and see his first expression.  You'll know the truth there. I would lose it- I'm so sorry. I don't know what story he'll try and come up with, but best of luck. Oh man thats rough.. 😞

It's not his and he doesn't know how it got there would not fly with me. The answer "I don't know" isn't good enough. Protect yourself and be strong. Go with your gut. Condoms don't magically appear.

Wow I'd definitely wait and call him in the room and have it in your hand handing it to him or just laying it on the table directly in front of you. Tell him he needs to explain himself or he needs to leave and think about the life he just ruined with you. You will never ever be able to regain his trust after this even if it "wasn't his" because I'm sure he's going to pull that one out of his ass. How new is his back pack? Did he ever have it before you guys were ever together? 
I just don't understand how it could be possible that you pick him up and drop him off also. Is he military or something that he can take tdys or short trips or gets long lunch breaks and just disappears?

I'd ask him if he wants you to clear out his bag, if there's anything in it. If he's trying to hide something he'll probably be quick to say it doesn't need cleaned out. Get a feeling for his true reaction before he knows you know about it. Reactions can be way different if they think you already know something! Sorry you feel uneasy about this and good luck!

Tell him that you were getting the old lunch containers to wash them. And then just hold the condom up. Dont rause your voice or try arguing. He better have a good explanation. If not just walk out and leave for a couple days

We talked for hours last night. I feel I got no where. He said it isn't his didn't know it was there. He said why would I need one and that was it. I told him how it looks to me and he said well it's not that.
