Harmony testing
So I want to have genetic testing and the ob I go to won't write an order for the harmony test probably because they don't do it at their on site lab. They do the NT testing which is basically the same thing but I also get an ultrasound and I do not learn the gender. I want the harmony test so I can find out the gender as well as the results of the genetic testing! So annoyed.
Anybody else have this experience?
My old co worker got the harmony test for like $40. They tell me at my office that insurance will only cover it if it's a high risk pregnancy. I feel like they are lying to me! I hate how everything in healthcare is such a mystery and a big secret.
