Need some help

Okay so my cousin just recently found out that his gf is pregnant. She hasn't been to the docs yet so she doesn't know how far along. I wouldn't say anymore than four weeks. He just texted me and said his gf has fever chills cramping and spotting. I told him milks cramping and spotting is normal early on in pregnancy but I could t give him a reason for the chills or fever. I looked it up and saw maybe an ectopic pregnancy. What do you ladies think could be wrong with her?
