Discharge after using Metronidazole?
Last week I was diagnosed with BV and was prescribed Metronidazole in gel form to use once a day for five days. I finished treatment the other day and now I have a crazy amount of white chunky almost cottage cheese like discharge. It does not itch or burn and no real smell. I'm wondering if this could just be from the medication working and flushing out or is it indeed a yeast infection now? I plan on calling my doctor tomorrow but I was just totally shocked by what I've been seeing and was curious if anyone has gone through this.
