**TMI** Can soap be drying me out/up?

OK so i just thought of this in the shower. I wash "down there" with my regular bar soap and since I'm ovulating I decided to do a cervix check. One small amount of egg white cm. Can the soap me drying up my cm??!!!

Soap in general will set you up, water is best... These gels and soaps and douches F up your pH balance

My gyno told me NO soaps with added PH. Rather she told me to use mild soaps like Cetaphil so it doesn't interfere with my natural pH levels and chemistry. I would give it a shot, it's not scented, dyed, and doesn't have harmful additives.
