Early pregnancy symptom?

So I'm 8 days away from my next period. Today while working I got really wet "down there" and I thought I started my period but was thinking it was odd because it would be realllly early. So I went and checked but noticed nothing. But my underwear was soaked. Someone told me that it could be an early pregnancy symptom? Or what could it be? I already passed my ovulation dates so I'm just asking.
