Hey everyone. I need some help! I have never had a child. I've had a strange experience thus far. So a week before my period I began to spot. It was brown, nothing like my normal period. It was on and off for a few days. Period day came and went and I did not get AF. I went to the DR last Friday and he took blood, did a sono and pelvic exam. He noticed "streaking blood" and said nothing more. I had to literally chase them down until almost 7 pm Monday for the blood test results. He said that I tested positive for pregnancy (2 days before missed period) but the hormone level was low and we should retest in a week. He also said the sonogram looked good (no fibroids or ectopic showing) Since Friday I have taken some HPC and they are all positive.( EPT AND CB DIGITAL said 1-2 weeks). I do not like many things about the first DR I called and had another Dr recommended to me. I tried to make an appt for this Monday the 17th. She said it's too soon and asked me to come the 24th. You would think with the positive tests I have gotten I would feel secure that I am pregnant. I feel very alone in this whole journey. When family asks when my Dr appt is and tell them they act confused as to why it's so far away. I would have stayed with my current gyno but she doesn't do OB appts anymore. I have been suffering from mild to moderate headaches, nausea and tender breasts. Today I have some back pain. Nothing else. I just feel like I should have been able to go to a Dr sooner. I don't know why they are being vague. It makes me worry. Anyone else experienced something similar?
