AF Due 8/20 and I am feeling crushed

My husband and I finally decided to ttc our last baby together. We share one child together who is 4 and I have a 11 & 8 year old from a previous relationship and he has a 9 year old so this will make #5 for our household... YES WE ARE CRAZY LOL... it's taken 4 years to make this decision and it's killing me waiting to finally conceive. I tested today as it is the earliest and I got a BFN, then I receive news that my brother got his mistress pregnant.... I feel like God is playing a cruel joke because apparently there is talk of her having an abortion. Why and how can this happen I would love nothing more than to share one more child with my husband and to get a negative and within in minutes find out this woman is pregnant.. I'm feeling totally defeated today... 😭😭
