Are you doing all the work?

Question

Hi. I'm 35 and have been ttc for 5 months. My husband and I both agreed we want children but he doesn't get involved at all - apart from the obvious :)
He doesn't ever ask questions about fertile dates or when AF is due or late. He is never the one to instigate the trying each month. I feel like I'm in this alone and wondering if it's me or just the way men are? Am I being too sensitive?

My hubby didn't at first ...and even complained about how much "work" he had to do the first time we got pregnant. We unfortunately lost the baby and when we started again he became very active...especially when it got close to time to test. When we finally got pregnant again he was so proud of himself, lol.

I felt the same way! After I miscarried, I became more resentful because I was going to have to go back to the TTC grind alone. I had a long talk with my hubby about it, & he actually understood where I was coming from. He ended up joining The Glow Community & linking to my account, so now he fills out a log daily & keeps up with our fertile week! It has made a huge difference, so maybe give that a try? Good luck & baby dust💖!

Same thing in my house but I found that if I tell him my fertile days he stresses himself out about it and things don't work like they r suppose to do I stopped telling him but it seem if we BD I may get 2-3 times and he sleeps for the next week lmao but that's why we r seeing a specialist now bc of low t sometimes he can't help it but it is frustrating sometimes

My husband is clueless, and has no desire to learn about fertility. He is super busy producing a tv show,  and it is long hours,  but i also feel pretty alone like you. I know it's cause he's secretly scared to death. Or men are just clueless in this department.

My husband was (is) totally onboard but had no idea of how this all works. Totally clueless. As time passed and I got more and more upset when AF showed up, he started asking questions, etc. you have to teach them- I swear all men are oblivious!!

Its my boyfriend idea for a baby. . He only has one kid... we have a lot of sex but he doesn't discuss it really. .
