I work in home care and in one of my cases they asked me to stay an extra 4 hours for the week. So being that it's Friday I should get paid for my weeks service. I do come back on Monday but I won't be doing the extra 4 hours. Should I ask for my check today? Today's my birthday and I need the money today I don't think I can wait till next week.

You need to first figure out when the pay periods start and end because most companies will have you work the extra hours and just throw it on your next check but if you do get paid weekly hell yeah ask for your check or get direct deposit and you won't have to worry about a check at all your money would already be in the bank
