Front seat baby - What do you do?

I work fast food, so I see tons of different people every day. Today, a lady came through the drive thru to collect her order, and I noticed in the passenger seat next to her, a (somewhere around the age) 6 month old little boy. Old enough to hold himself up, but not to walk/talk, etc. He was sitting in the front seat, no car seat, seat belt, nothing. She had to have seen me looking, cuz she glared at me the whole time.

My question, is that something I should go to the police about? She had out of state plates, so I thought maybe it'd be harder to find. But it definitely didn't feel right just letting her leave with that little one so vulnerable.

I definitely would've called the cops. I would make her wait a long time for her food, call cops in the meantime and tell them you'll stall them as long as you can, give them the liscence plate number, if they drive off, tell them which way she went, etc.

When a child is in danger, you call police.

Absolutely needs to be reported. That child would die if the air bag deployed. I would have told her to park and I would bring her food out. Called the police.. Then taken my time heading out there. Maybe even screw up the order the first time really bad.. Here's your apple slices and coffee instead of big Mac meal deal etc. 
Then finally get the order right and take it to her as the police arrive.

I would've called the police. You don't drive with a baby without a car seat!!! Some people say it's none of your business. I disagree, when it comes to the safety of a baby or child.

I don't think you should have immediately called the police or Cps because people go through a lot and you don't know her situation. She may have been glaring @ you BECAUSE of the situation that caused the baby to have to be up there like that. That's not a usual situation and so I would presume something had to happen. Maybe you could have asked her to pull up to "wait for food”, had someone take your place in drive thru window, and then walked her food out, discreetly noted her tag,car make and model and such, and compassionately spoke to her about it. If her story sounded whack, and didn't add up-or if she declined going into an explanation and your instincts were going berserk...THEN I would alert someone, providing the info I gathered.

*I have never worked in fast food so I'm not sure how possible any of my suggestion was. Just winging it.

She may have not had a car seat to put them him. If she had out of state tags it may not have even been her car and she was just picking up food. We don't know, because it's not our business.

They would take the child away, n press charges on her, n be sent to parenting classes. For putting her kid in danger n having the right nor the kid seat for one. Some moms do that, put their kids in danger, n it's not right.

Was there a car seat in the back? Did she have to wait in line for awhile?  Maybe she got baby out for some reason while waiting in the drive through line.
