I want to wait until marriage

So I'm not a virgin anymore, but I want to stop having sex. I know that it's difficult to stop once you've started but I really feel like it's something that I want to do. I've only had one partner, and we're still together. I know he'd respect my decision. I don't regret losing it to him, I just really wish that we had waited so that we wouldn't feel like sex is an important factor in our relationship. Have any of y'all made this kind of decision? Do you have any words of encouragement?
