Too long feeding?

Question

My baby is nearly a month. He usually would feed for 10-20 minutes. The passed few days it's been more like 30-50 minutes and it's driving me insane. Could this indicate that something is wrong?

4wks 2 months 3 months 6 months 9 months give or take are growth spurts. The wonder weeks app is awesome at giving you a heads up for when you can expect changes in behavior ie cluster feeding

Nope he's just at a growth spurt and he's telling your body to up it's milk supply

He is probably using you as a soother.  My baby nursed for 5 minutes and was done. When she started going longer than 10-15 she is just sucking to soothe herself. I normally just give her a pacifier if she cries when I take breast out. It's hard to tell but more than likely they are just soothing.

My doc just told me that pretty much anything after 20 mins or so is just for soothing purposes
