Missed a period and ovulated.

So as of today I am at CD 45.  The week I was suppose to start my period on Aug. 6, two days later I took an ovulation test and I ovulated that week.  So we BD all week long now I'm just waiting.  I took an ovulation test and pregnancy test yesterday and both negative.  As of right now I have not started my period.  I'm not sure what to think. Can anyone help explain any of this?  I've been off of BC since Dec and haven't missed a period until this month.  Any info would help put my mind at ease.
