2 periods in 1 month..

Okay ladies so July 31st I had my period and it ended August 3rd. Well on the 13th I started bleeding again up until today. The first couple id days it would rotate between a full blown period and spotting. It was like bright red at first and then the past couple of days it's just been mostly spotting and like a rusty orange/brown/light pink... I have no idea whata going on here, I'm gonna make an appointment tomorrow as long as my medical is back to normal but has anyone else had this problem and what did it and up being?
