Strange AF this month

Hey ladies.. I am 36 and we have been ttc #1 for a long time now. With it not happening so far, at this point we are not tracking and just having fun.. if it happens it happens.

On October 15th this year I will have had af for 26yrs. In these 26yrs I have normally been very regular give or take a couple of days.

I normally have af for 5 days... light/heavy/heavy/med/light.

This month I got af on the day I was supposed to but it was heavy from the minute it came for 2 1/2 days, now, nothing. My breasts are 2 cup sizes larger this month when they normally only get 1 cup size bigger with af at the most. I was feeling a bit nauseous before af and even had what I, at the time, thought was ovulation bleeding because I have gotten that before, about 6 days before af came. ..

I am asking y'all's oppinion on what I should do.

Should I get a test and take it just because my af only lasted for 2 1/2 days or should I just wait until next month and see whats happening.

I have been trying for sooooo long with not even a hint of conception that I am actually frightened to find out that it is all in my head.

I need to find out as soon as possible regardless because I am "technically " high risk due to my age.

I just dont know... I dont want to be disappointed again... that is why I wont even say anything to my husband about it until I would get it confirmed by my doctor.

I just need your thoughts.
