BC advice??

Question

So I just started taking birth control today, and I have never been on it before. Does it really mess with your system if you don't take your pill at the same time every day? Or could it be 1 or two hours diffrence? Thanks!

I used to set an alarm in my phone for a time that I knew I wouldn't be very busy almost everyday.  If you carry a purse, keep your pills there so you always have them with you.

They can mess with your acne, emotions, and general feeling. I only had emotional reactions, I was very weepy and I seemed to get bummed out easily. Others don't have any reactions, it's a person to person thing.

If you feel like somethin is off ask your doctor to put you in a different dosage and see if it helps.

Set a reminder on your phone and take it at the same time everyday. It's most effective this way.

I always pick a time I know I will be awake pretty much everyday and take it then.

Your body gets used to receiving the hormones at that time. That's why they say to take it at the same time.

Have I ever slept in and not taken it at 6 am(when I get up for school) without consequences? Yes. But I didn't make a habit of it.
