First time breastfeeding!
We have been in the NICU for 19 days now and was allowed to breastfeed the first time today. The lactation consultant was very helpful and we ended up using a nipple shield because he wouldn't latch right away on his own, he did so well! He has been used to bm from a bottle so hopefully the transition is smooth. Excited for this big step!
