Can a gynecologist tell my parents everything bout me?

Can a doctor tell if I'm a virgin or not? If I don't have any diseases? 
And can he tell my mother that I'm not if he knows?

I worried a lot about that too a while ago but I did some research. Virginity is not a physical thing. So if a doctor says they can tell by looking into your vagina if you are a virgin they are liars and should have their medical liscence suspended. The hymen (which is what people often think is what makes you a virgin) is a tissue in your vagina which stretches naturally whether you have sex or not. Any rough activity may make it break (which is what people often say happens during your first time) so there's no way of knowing whether you've had sex before or not. Also the hymen doesn't need to break during your first time and shouldn't hurt if you are fully aroused and wet and comfortable with your partner. The whole concept of virginity is just to keep women sexually limited and to shame them for expressing their sexuality. Don't let it get to you. Also if you need proof there are plenty of scientific articles on line that explain and say everything I have. So you don't have to take my word for it, but I was in your situation once too.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal, but sometimes doctors can be dicks. You should check out reviews of the doctor from other people online before you'd go. If not, Planned Parenthood is always a supportive and helpful place (if you can get past the assholes, but I'm pretty sure they now have people hired to escort people past them).

Hymens can break or tear for lots of reasons, and some people aren't born with hymens at all. So a doctor wouldn't be able to tell if you've had sex from that.

There are other things that could indicate you're sexually active, such as semen residue, or if you have marks from recent rough sex, or an STI.

If you are going to a gyno that you trust, PLEASE be honest with them. Give them as much information as possible to help you get whatever care you need.

I work for a gynecologist and if you're not over the age of consent (depending on what state you live in) they can tell your parents. If you over the age of consent and fill out a HIPPA form WITHOUT their name on it, the doctor is not allowed to tell them anything by law. My best advice is to be open with your parents. When I was young, I was and my mom got me on birth control. Had she not, I probably would have gotten pregnant before I was ready for a child. Just something to consider.

No because of HIPPA. They cant tell anyone anything about your charts. Now if you're a minor and you're parents ask they'll probably ask you what all you want them to know or not know.
