Where did you get your crib?

I'm just curious. I just bought a changing table from a lady for $12. In pretty awesome condition. I'm going to distress it and paint it. I'm torn between finding used cribs or buying new cribs. The money doesn't really matter, sure it would be great to save money if we buy them used. I just want what's best for my babies. What did you ladies do? And what is your preference?

My parents & uncle pitched in to buy our little Max a crib & matress. The crib is used tho. The previous owner didn't use it. Still had the papers/tags & everything on it, but we did buy a new matress.

My dad offered to buy one for my baby so I got new. It is hard to know a lot about used cribs (pieces missing, recalls, etc) so for the crib I felt best going new.

I bought the crib used & mattress new they say not to buy used mattresses for babies

As soon as we told MIL we were pregnant, she said she was buying the crib and the mattress because "No one knows how to buy baby mattresses!" Lol. Here's the crib. It's all we've gotten so far so it's a pretty sparse room.

My SO dad bought all our nursery furniture as a shower gift. Crib was around $500 so blessed❤️

We bought used off of Craigslist. I paid $15 for the changing table and she gave us the crib and mattress for free 😊 I love the drawer on the changing table and under the crib since the room will be shared between siblings.
