Are you putting bumper pads in crib?

So obviously you can't have those in the crib with the baby so I was just wondering if anyone is skipping them altogether. I am, but I didn't get a bedding set I put things together on my own. I really didn't want a themed baby room

I am using them. I did the research. So no hate. Everyone can do what they want. You have more of a chance of getting into a car accident than anything happening in the crib.

I don't have them for our crib, but it's not because I'm against them or anything. I just don't care lol. I think if you want them, use them. My parents used them with all 6 children and never had an issue lol. They also had cribs with drop sides, and washed our clothing with their own 😰. .. crazy, but we all survived 😒😂😂😂

I'm not using them either and I didn't really want a typical themed baby room either. When people ask what theme the baby room is, I kinda just say...uh...earth tone colors? Lol idk! If u just think about the logistics of having a bumper pad in the crib and a baby rolling over into it, it's pretty scary to think about the consequences

Here's what I don't understand and maybe someone can explain. 
Why can't we use crib bumpers with a newborn? Explain to me how a baby who can't pick up its own head can roll all the way over to the side of the crib and stick it's face in the bumper!?? 
So then we move to the age where they can move...5+ months...they can move their head if they can't breath right? Someone please explain cause I used em with my son and the only reason I took them out was because he was using them to stand on and trying to climb out of him crib (around 8-10 months old).

You can do crib rails instead! That is what I am doing, plus it will protect from their little teethies ☺

I used them with my daughter and never had a problem. They came with her bedding set. With this one I'm undecided.
