Ovulation tests - not making sense. Please help:(

I immediately took a clear blue easy read after and got a blank circle/negative. And just a little bit ago got a negative of this same kind pictured that I took this morning. I'm so confused. I used the same urine for the pictured test and the clear blue. Today is cycle day 23 for me (I have long/irregular cycles) This is my first month testing for ovulation. Input? And it seems like my tests in the morning always have a way darker test line than the ones I take after work.
