So we've pretty much decided on Taven Blaize for our little boy! But when I mentioned it to my brother, he told me it was a bad idea, because our 1-year old nephew's name is Kaidon, and for a fun baby talk nickname, they call him Taydon occasionally. I'm not really willing to lose the ONE name my husband and I agree on and love over a nickname that I personally have never heard him referred to as, and that I also can't see lasting. Is it worth trying to find another name? We're quite attached to Taven already, and have begun referring to him by the name. I'm just kind of torn up over it. Advice??
